saw this in weishan's blog and i almost feel like tearing when she said that she is grateful for all the friends that stayed with her....

(I guessed I am not good in making and maintaining friendships. To be frank, I always felt I always felt that its a miracle I have ANY friends at all. I am not a good friend and I always knew that. I do not give people presents mostly because I am brought up in a family whose tradition is doesn't include celebrating birthdays. Looking back, my primary school and secondary school do not celebrate birthdays as often as they do now.Even so..... I am all the more grateful for all the friends that stayed with me till now. Eva, Shereen, Vanessa, LD....I know it wasn't easy. I am not the automatic sort. Neither am I the super fun and exciting type.But then I do not think I deserve this. If you don't want to be friends. Just tell me so. We both know the relationship is strained. And its making me bad tempered cause its just so damn irritating to see us pretend.)

<3 weishan and i do not think that it's hard to maintain a friendship with her. On the other hand, i think that it makes me feel comfortable having her as my good friend. Even though you said that you seldom buy presents for people, you are actually giving me much more than a present. I do not need birthday presents from friends and i do not feel offended when people do not give me a present. All i need is the emotional support from friends and this is what you have given me. You are honest, straightforward and chatty with friends. I do not think that you are not fun and unexciting. This is because i tend to look at the good points of my friends instead of looking at their flaws. My definition of a friendship= to give/care and not expect anything in return, to take whatever is given to me, remember and cherish them, and finally, communication, trust and being comfortable in the friendship. Let me summarize why you are such a good friend
--> pretty (you look pretty when you dress up and i think you look nice when you wear sleeveless...your arms are not fat and you are not fat at all.)
--> caring
--> straightforward
--> makes people feel comfortable around you
--> willingness to hang out with new people
--> friendly
--> and lastly, i can foresee us growing old together (omg...this sentence sounds so les!lol)
