Romantic CompatibilityProvided by: Astrology.com
Capricorn & Scorpio
When Scorpio and Capricorn make a love match, they get an opportunity to not only enjoy a loving relationship and learn the value of being a pair, but also to grow and mature as individuals. These two may be wary about sharing themselves with one another at first, and this emotional caution may dampen the initial impact of this relationship. These two tend to be a bit cautious (Capricorn) and pensive (Scorpio), and it takes a while for them to feel comfortable with a significant other. Though they may be shy of getting involved and not the quickest to trust and share, these two Signs will discover that they can have quite a profound connection -- one of friendship and deep loyalty.
Much can be learned when a Scorpio and Capricorn get together -- and the lessons they learn, while difficult at times to endure, are worth the trouble they might cause. From their stable, capable Capricorn mate, Scorpio can learn to bring their overheated emotions into control. Capricorn must be careful, though, not to seem too emotionally shallow when leveling any criticism on their sensitive love. Detached comments can backfire with Scorpios: They desire depth, intense feeling and the utmost in sincerity in all situations -- most especially in love! Capricorn, so busy with achieving and with how others perceive them sometimes fails to take a chance with their emotions. From Scorpio, Capricorn will learn the value of looking below the surface of things, the rich pleasure that can come from deeply knowing another person. Both Signs share a love of committing to a task. If they decide a relationship is their next big goal to attain, there's no stopping these two.
The Planets Mars and Pluto rule Scorpio, and the Planet Saturn rules Capricorn. Mars and Pluto represent aggression, courage, sexual energy, rebirth and renewal. Saturn teaches the great lessons in life -- hard work, diligence, ambition and responsibility. These three Planets can combine in the Signs to form an industrious union bound by Scorpio's fierce emotion and Capricorn's ambitious action. This is a dynamic team for business, sure, but they all that achieving energy could translate well to affection and love.
Scorpio is a Water Sign, and Capricorn is an Earth Sign. Earth Signs are all about practical matters, about material possessions. What a good balance, then, for those of the Water element. Water Signs mold to the shape of the situation they're in and often respond with emotion rather than logic. A match-up of Capricorn's goal-oriented stability and Scorpio's exciting mutability makes for quiet a team -- whether they translate to love depends on whether love is their goal. If it is, expect success.
Scorpio is a Fixed Sign, and Capricorn is a Cardinal Sign. They may not seem the most romantic Sign of the Zodiac, but a Capricorn's business and planning savvy could certainly be put to good use in devising elegant, well-planned nights of romance. If their Capricorn partner shows that much initiative, Scorpio will enthusiastically follow along, excitedly, if not a bit smugly, throwing in their own ideas, too. Scorpio can toss out some barbed comments under their breath or in such a sexy tone of voice that Capricorn might not even notice. A love-minded Sea Goat would do well to listen closely for subtle shades and nuances in their Scorpio partner's voice and pay special attention to body language as well. Both Signs can be stubborn, and this could lead to some potential conflict. Also, Scorpio falls hard, emotionally involving themselves almost to the point of no return, in stark contrast to the sometimes-distant Sea Goat. Both partners must recognize this and accept it if the relationship is to be successful.
What's the best thing about the Scorpio-Capricorn love match? Their determination toward shared ideas and their strong devotion to one another. They can open doors to one another's souls and show one another new ways of perceiving and feeling.

1. Remember that anger and love are two sides of the same coin
If you really want love in your life, you must be willing to spend a little time with love's less comfortable relatives, anger and pain. It's common to think that with anger and pain come breakup and divorce. But the bottom line is the more you love someone, the more able they are to piss you off. So be aware: Anger and intense emotion are normal when you truly love and care. Mel McDaniel sings about this two-sided coin in "Anger and Tears":

phew.....5.27 now......33 more minutes before i can go home and enjoy my weekend! yippeeee...... went to novena square for lunch just now.......went to magic wok and we ordered our food at 12.50pm....the food came at 1pm and i only got 20 minutes to eat and rush back to the office...hmmm.....i think i might be leaving my office at 12.30 instead of 12.20 next time......suraya, siew eng and wanti will be having dinner together next friday but i can't make it as i got something on....sorry ladies.... :( .....hmmm...how shall i spend my weekend? bringing rocky down for a walk is a must.......his tail is very long compared to other puppies of his size!

so busy with work the whole day....i finally found some time to take a short break...just came back after taking attendance for speech and drama class....went for lunch with daniel and radziah....we went to level 1 canteen for lunch and i had chicken chop for lunch.....the meat is very tender and juicy and the sauce is yummy.....when i came back from lunch, yasmeen printed out her emails and asked me to read through them and tabulate the 'waiting list of children in need of foster care'......according to name, sex, DOB, age, case type, special needs, education, etc...and she need it by 4pm! bomb! a time bomb dropped on me as there was a lot of reading to be done.......so i have to read through all the emails and highlight all the main points before starting to type out the information......luckily i managed to finish at 3+........i had to rush as the speech and drama class starts at 2.30pm and i had to mark their attendance for the day.....there is another class at 4pm which ends at 5.30 pm but i decided to go at around 5.20pm to mark the attendance as i have to do closing for the day......i think i will be asking daniel to help me as the door is very heavy! now i'm re-arranging the list of EAF Volunteers according to the location they stay e.g East, central, North, West......and i'm a person with no sense of direction....luckily ms tay wrote down the location before handling it to me......phew.....i still got to handle the case file later....its interesting to read the case file but its a pity that i don't get to handle cases as i will only be in the company for a short period of time.....hmmm....

i'm so busy at work this week....there was a sharing session today and my supervisor yasmeen (assistant manager of fostering) was one of the presentor.....so she asked me to do a powerpoint presentation for her....she wanted a light and cheerful background and this was what i gave her....all the information was given by her....the system at the conference room is very faulty! it can't detect my thumbdrive and can't detect 3 1/2 floppy disc too....luckily i always save my work at my desktop, thumbdrive and floppy disc......as the system couldn't detect it, i borrowed a thumbdrive from another colleague and went downstairs to save it before going up again......and when i reached the conference room....the speaker was telling all the student interns to stand up and introduce themselves......and i'm not aware of what was going on......then the speaker asked me to introduce myself....then i was like saying:' huh? orhh(coz i finally realised she was asking us to introduce ourselves).....i'm shereen from the fostering department and my supervisor is yasmeen.... i will be here for another one month and few more weeks.' Then the speaker was saying...'so she is counting down'..lol.....i think i like it when someone ask me to introduce myself before telling me in advance....just like during a presentation....i like to be the first speaker.....lol.....won't be so scared that way......this was what happened in the morning.....in the afternoon, i printed our the report for the next meeting and one report was like 54 pages.....coz the report consist of confidential information about cases for review......then i had to make 20 copies of the report which includes 7 copies to be mailed out to the people who will be attending the meeting.....after that, i have to bind all the 20 copies and it is very tedious to bind 20 thick copies.....the photocopy machine was not working properly and i can see that it is telling me to stop printing as it is tired....have you ever seen papers which go in straight but come out crumpled? the photocopy will be jammed every now and then and i have to reprint.....this will never happen if you are only printing a few copies....

Shereen, when talking to your partner, you're a Harmonizer.

This means that you tend to be an agreeable partner who possesses both flexibility and a knack for compromise. Above all, you appear to make a real effort to keep things positive between you and your significant other. In fact, there are many times when you may feel that it's better to downplay problems rather than talk about them endlessly. This can be especially true when you and your partner hit on a tough issue on which you don't think you can reach agreement. After all, there are so many positive, happy things to enjoy in a relationship that you probably feel it's a waste of time to dwell on the negative. Experts agree that for a couple to thrive, they must be able to communicate. People with compatible communication styles tend to bring out the best in one another because their approach to relationships is like-minded. But if you're with someone whose communication style clashes with yours, you're headed for more challenges than most.

Shereen, you're an Amorous Adventurer
Carefree and fun, you are easily excited when it comes to new experiences — and that includes relationships. It's not that you see boyfriends as frivolous pursuits, but you enjoy the art of the chase, and you work to make sure that long-term relationships maintain that sense of adventure and surprise.You may not be the type of girlfriend who spends every waking hour with her man, but that doesn't mean you're not thinking about him. You're just an independent woman, and it's important for you to feel challenged and creative in most things you do. That's what makes any relationship an adventure.

Shereen, when you reveal your true colors in love, you're a Romantic Partner

You put your trust in old-fashioned love and romance. As a result, you don't want just any partner. You're looking for a devoted soul mate. On your search for that person, you're one who can truly appreciate the rituals of courtship. Flowers, holding hands, thoughtful notes — these are the kinds of things that can set a heart like yours aflutter. Once you've found that special someone who stirs your desire, a Romantic Partner like you may have a tendency to disappear in the throws of this passionate romance entirely. But don't worry, once the relationship matures, you'll likely come up for air.

All About Capricorn
Capricorn Characteristics and Profile
Provided by Tarot.com

The sure-footed Mountain Goat can climb to higher altitudes than any other mammal. And you sure-footed Capricorns are also well-suited for climbing. Capricorn sets high goals for yourself and then you overcome whatever obstacles may appear between you and the top of your personal mountain. As Capricorn climbs the ladder of success, your ambition pushes you forward. Status can be important to Capricorn and often, at the top of your game, you gain personal satisfaction by knowing that others respect you for what you have accomplished.

Capricorn can dance out on the edge of a cliff, but will never fall. Why? Stability plays an important role, but so does practice. As a typical Capricorn, you may appear reckless, but chances are that your actions will have been very well planned, and probably also rehearsed. Capricorn is always calculating what will happen if you do something. You Capricorns are energetically conservative, only expending enough to get you to where you want to be. No silly impulsive actions for you. This is your best insurance to get to the top of the mountain.

The Capricorn motto might be Milton Berle's "If opportunity doesn't knock, then build a door." But this doesn't mean that if there are no mountains to climb that you must build the mountain. For you, hardships can be your path to fulfillment, but for the sake of happiness, it would be good for you to learn to appreciate what you have, instead of always striving to reach the next plateau.

Element: Earth
Earth signs are naturally practical. In this lifetime we are bound to Earth. There is no escaping the reality around us. The Earth is about as real as it gets; it can be felt, weighed and it has substance. Accordingly, the earth signs base their life on what is real, not what is imagined. Sensation is valued over thoughts or feelings. Earth signs live with their feet on the ground. Others seek their advice because of their basic sensibility. For earth signs, seeing is believing.

The earth of Capricorn is that of foundation and structure. It's about having a stable base so we don't build our life on shifting sand. Even the great mountains earth, and if it weren't for their foundational integrity, we couldn't climb upon them.

Tenth House: Career
The Tenth House is the House of the Father. It is where we pursue the outer world, which is often related to our career. This isn't about our personality. It's about how the outer world sees us through the role we play in it. It is here, in the Tenth House, that we look to find out about status and recognition.

Key Planet: Saturn
Saturn, the ringed planet, is etymologically tied to the word "Satan." But, as demonstrated in the Tarot, the "Devil Card" is not a bad card. It's only difficult if we've made the deal with the devil that we believe the physical world is all there is. Saturn is the planet of boundaries and limitations. If we succumb to those limitations, we are doomed to live within the laws of cause and effect. But if we do the hard work of spiritual practice, we can be rewarded by the wisdom that exists beyond the material plane. As the key planet for Capricorn, Saturn does symbolize that we get what we deserve. Take shortcuts in life and we'll meet up with problems later on. But if we do things with integrity, then the rewards will be ours.

Capricorn Greatest Strength: Your ability to overcome obstacles

Capricorn Possible Weakness: Too much work and not enough play

arghhh...irritating sore throat!

Monday, September 17, 2007

Hi guys!i'm currently in my week 4 of my attachment in MCYS. MCYS= ministry of community department youth and sports.....bascially i'm doing different things everyday....this are what i have done over the past few weeks
--> 4 days orientation
--> event planning for next year foster parents and child at the escape theme park (e.g logistics list etc)
--> call up suppliers to check prices for items needed at events
--> booking of rooms through the intranet for foster parents meeting next year
--> consolidate survey results
--> data entry
--> statistics of number of volunteers over the last 5 years( whether any increase)
--> photocopying and filing
--> preparing venue for speech and drama class and join in the class and played 'imaginery games' and 'colouring'

My fostering department is at level 12 but there is insufficient workstation there and therefore they asked me to sit at level 9....and after 3 weeks there....i'm officially shifted up to level 12 again....lol....that save me the hassle of walking up and down non-stop...lol....but i have to know everyone from the start again.... but its okay....used to it already....you will get used to making friends with strangers if you are unlucky like me....always put in a new environment... talking about a new environment...i feel that most ppl in MCYS are friendly....not as bad and scary as i thought/heard from the previous batch....but some friends remind me that i am only in there for 3 weeks.....but its a good start to like the place ya?hee...felt uncomfortable siting at my workstation initially but i got used to it and kinda enjoy sitting there now....coz there is more privacy compared to level 9 where i'm sitting in front of a printer, fax machine, besides the boiling water and food and beverages.

i'm having a sore throat now....it is recovering fast initially but jeffrey brought me to the malay village and pasa malam at paya lebar and he bought me lots of snacks....and they come in big packets....after eating half a packet yesterday nite....my sore throat is back to haunt me! arghhh.....irritating jeffrey.....smack! ah bish! smack!

oh ya...i got back my results already...i checked my results immediately when it was 12am.....i don't look for 'A's in my results but rather, i scan through to see whether there is any 'fail'... phew....luckily for me there is none...here's my lousy results....

Human resources--> D+
customer relationship management--> c+
international business--> c+
retail store operations and management--> B
personal selling and negotiation skills--> A
marketing research--> C+
calculus--> C

calculus! i got c!!!i'm so damm shocked when i saw the C! i thought that i will fail! coz i only attempted a few questions in the paper and i calculated that i will get at most 20% even if i answered all the questions correctly. I finished the whole paper within 1/2 hour and i tell myself that even if i pray to god i will nv pass.....omg.....what is happening....y is the calculus teacher so lenient?
sorry if i have any typo error/grammar mistakes as i'm really tired now...
