I'm back from the cleo challenge....we didn't win but it was indeed a good experience. There are two stages in the game and i'm glad we didn't get disqualified before stage 2. However, we had to run all around Sentosa and it's damm tiring! We have to travel from Siloso Beach to Palawan Beach and back to Silosa Beach and then to Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach and then back to Siloso Beach again. And we have to do this within 90 minutes. We have to travel around to look for the trading post and to buy and sell products and earn as much money as possible. However, i dislike stage 1 because we have to travel around by running and walking. It's really tiring to run/walk for such a long time. I prefer stage 2 as there are more physical activities and we don't have to run around aimlessly. I'm not a good runner and if i have to choose between running and swimming, i would choose to swim. Anyway one of my favourite game is the stage where we have to swim for about 200metres at Siloso Beach. I like the feeling of swimming with the life jacket on. I can float when i swim...the feeling is so cool....

I get excited when i see your sms...hee...roar! anyway you smsed me accidentally....but its better than nothing...lol....I don't like it when someone disappear from my life...
I went out to collect my national day preview tickets and i have 4 tickets! one seat will be given to weishan....and the other two seats are not confirmed yet. Went home at 6+ as my friends will be coming to my house...and i'm so tired now...been going out everyday and now i'm looking forward to staying at home. Anyway school will be starting soon....

I didn't reply because i don't know what to do...

Pool training is so fun and i learnt a lot....they taught us ways to control the ball, ways to hit three balls consecutively, etc....and i need to bend lower so that my chin is slightly above the cue. Some guys are so pro! i wanna be like them... This is my second pool training and i'm looking forward to the next pool training this week.


I realise that i have been playing a lot this holiday and so i bought two books to upgrade myself before school starts. The first book is about cognitive behaviour terapy (CBT), the standard psychological tool used by therapists. I bought this book because i was attracted by this paragraph--> Most of us instinctively aviod the situations that we fear. However, avoidance simply reinforces the perception that the feared sitation is threatening and so it strengthens thoses fears over time. it also redurced our ability to deal with the situations we fear and lowers our confidence in our ability to solve problems. If we do not confront our demons at some stage, we never learn to overcome them.
Sounds interesting ya? There are about 300 pages in the book and i wanna finish reading it before school starts.
I think reading is good because it allows us learn more and think deeper. The title of the second book is 'The Body Shop Massage, simple solutions for everyday stresses'. Yes, i don't know how to massage, but i can learn...haha...

SINGAPORE : The US military is tracking a North Korean ship that media reports said is heading for Singapore.

The Kang Nam departed from a port in North Korea on Wednesday and is suspected of carrying weaponry, missile parts or nuclear material.

Responding to media queries, Singapore’s Foreign Ministry said Singapore takes seriously the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and if the allegation is true, the ministry said Singapore will act appropriately.

The Kang Nam is the first vessel to be tracked under new UN sanctions passed last week which bans shipments of arms and nuclear and missile technology to and from North Korea. — CNA /ls

SINGAPORE: Singapore has confirmed 26 new cases of H1N1 including three who appear to have acquired their infections in Singapore.

22 cases involve travellers returning from other countries while another case is a close contact of an earlier confirmed case.

The new cases bring the total number of infected people in Singapore to 103.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) says the three unlinked cases have no travel history or known contact with confirmed cases.

One of them is a 27—year—old Filipino who works in Singapore. His six—member family from the Philippines came to Singapore from Manila on 11 June.

From 12—14 June, he took his family to several places of interest. His family returned to Manila on 14 June. His six family members appeared well during their stay in Singapore.
He went to work from 15—17 June. He developed symptoms while he was in the office on 16 June evening. On 18 June morning, he sought medical attention at a GP clinic for fever and cough. A 993 ambulance was called to send him to the Communicable Disease Centre 2 (CDC2) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Swabs were taken from him for influenza testing under MOH’s influenza surveillance programme, and he was discharged with three days of medical leave and medication. He went back and stayed at home for the rest of the day. Laboratory results confirmed his infection on the same day and he was admitted to CDC2 via a 993 ambulance at night.

Another new unlinked case is a 16—year—old Singaporean student. He was at home all day on 12 June. From 13 to 15 June, he was out for social activities. He remained at home on 16 June and went out again on 17 June. He developed symptoms on 17 June night while he was at home.
On 18 June morning, he went to the polyclinic where swabs were taken under MOH’s influenza surveillance programme, and he was prescribed some medication. He returned home thereafter and remained at home. On 19 June, he received a call from the polyclinic informing him that he had tested positive for Influenza A (H1N1—2009). He was admitted to CDC2 via a 993 ambulance.

The third new unlinked case is a 14—year—old Singaporean student. He stayed home from 10 to 12 June. On 13 and 14 June, he attended church functions in the morning and returned home thereafter. He went to Sentosa with his friends on 15 June. While at home, he developed a fever on 16 June afternoon.

He sought medical attention at a polyclinic on 17 June morning where swabs were taken for influenza testing under MOH’s influenza surveillance programme. He stayed at home for the rest of that day and the following day. On 19 June afternoon, he received a call from the polyclinic informing him that he had tested positive for Influenza A (H1N1—2009). He was admitted to the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital via a 993 ambulance.

I went for the briefing for the cleo challenge today and this is what they gave us--> 4 sentosa admission tickets, name tags, cleo t-shirts and 8 pages of the rules and regulations....the cleo challenge is kinda similar to the amazing race where we have to race against time.
