Played pool with SMU students yesterday....and i lost the singles.....the score was 2 vs 3. we played for about 1 hour plus even though we were playing race to 3. Race to 3 means that the person who won the first three rounds will be the winner. Although it's a friendly match before the actual competition, it's definitely a very good experience as i tried to figure out her strength and weaknesses. It's the official competition next weekend and i hope my school will win the competition for the team.

Sometimes i prefer playing pool with guys instead of girls because i'm a very impatient person. Guys usually take less than 5 seconds to think and aim while girls can take up to 20 seconds to aim. I think i should learn more from girls as being impatient won't help in the game. I shouldn't be impatient and i need to learn to focus and aim slowly...any ideas on how to make me a less impatient person?

happy national day everyone!

btw..i think life is meaningless if we are emotionless and that we can only experience happiness. This is because without other emotions in life, we wouldn't appreciate what we currently have and there will not be satisfaction when we finally achieve our goals. E.g if you are a rich girl, you wouldn't understand the joy of buying sales items/ eating hawker food. And i think other emotions are able to make us stronger. Wouldn't it be boring if you always get what you want? It's more challenging and satisfying to go for something which is hard to attain.

I'm relieved...they reduced the size of the competition and now they only need 5 female players for the pool competition which means all newbies do not have to take part in the competition. Some seniors are graduating next semester and i hope they will try their best and hopefully win a gold medal this year. I believe they are capable of doing that as some of them are really good. Jiayou jiayou! I'm still learning a lot from each training and i love learning new things.

Realised weini bought quite a few grey stuff recently and i'm here to share on the things that i've bought recently
--> a black charles and keith bag
--> navy blue hoodle cum jumper
--> brown jumper
--> grey cardigan
--> black jacket
--> black spagetti
--> jeans from topshop (this is the second pair of jeans in my cupboard. Yes, i only have two pairs of jeans in my cupboard.i prefer wearing shorts or skirts)
--> I've bought lots of blue, brown, grey and black stuff recently
I think i wanna try clothes of different designs, cutting, material and colours. However, i decided to buy only if they allow me to try the clothes. I realised that females always buy clothes of the same design and cutting. Does anyone agree with me?I'm one of them too!haha... We have many clothes which are similar e.g polo t-shirts, shirts, jeans, etc...they all look the same to me and i wonder why we always tend to buy things that suit us. Sometimes a change is good and we should try different style if possible. (though we always end up buying the same things again. Aha!)

This is what i did recently....i went to Henderson waves to take photos...but the photos are still with my friend...

and i also went to ktv with my colleagues...but i think the sound system isn't that good as compared to k box or partyworld....

I was working as wine promoter for three days...i like the job becoz the pay is good....working hours are short...and you get to drink the wine...haha. We have to go for a one hour training before selling the wine. I'm supposed to promote cabernet merlot and merlot red wine from French Cellar...and they taught me how to use a wine opener. It's pretty fun as this is my first time using the wine opener. During the training, they taught us
--> the difference between red wine and vintage wine (red wine cannot be kept for a long time while vintage wine can be kept for a long time)
--> using the wine opener the correct way
--> ways to store the red wine (using wine stopper...placing it horizontally....etc)
--> both cabernet and merlot are names of the grapes used to produce the red wine
--> ways to describe the taste of the wine (sweet, fruity, spicy, stronger, dry, etc)
--> alcohol content (13%)
--> red wine should be consumed within three days after opening...
--> the colour of the red wine will turn lighter when it's going to expire while the colour of while wine will turn darker ...
--> etc etc
Anyway, i think there's so much to learn and although there's no commission for this job, i tried to sell as much as possible. I managed to sell 24 bottles during the three days and i drank the red wine everyday...wahhahaa...btw, i prefer the taste of cabernet merlot to merlot. This is because i prefer the stronger and spicy taste as compared to sweet and fruity taste. The wine is also sold at some 7-elevens....you can try it if you want. I think the price is about $24.90 at 7-elevens.

Project project project!

It's amazing how i can swallow all my food without chewing it...I didn't chew my food because i'm unable to chew for the past 2 days. It is because of my braces adjustment. Anyway, it's just so painful this time round and i fell asleep while doing my project. Although i wanted to take painkillers, i didn't take any of them as i don't have it at home. Anyway, although i can't chew, i still have my scissors at home! and so....i used the scissors to cut all my food into smaller pieces before swallowing them. I'm sure i can't chew normally after a few more days. I'm sure the pain only affected my teeth and not the brain and the stomach. This is because i kept thinking of eating Mee Robus(can anyone correct my spelling)....i know...that's so random.....and i just had the Wasabi double fish burger today(yummy...but will be better if there were more wasabi).....i didn't chew...i just swallowed the entire burger....am i amazing?hahhaa
