I could see I love you It hurts
medeep in my heart 你还在我心上 某一个地方 看着你为了他失魂落魄不说一句话
爱的重量 不在我身上 I could see I love you It hurts me deep in my heart
I could see
I love you It hurts me deep in my heart 你还在我心上
某一个地方看着你为了他失魂落魄不说一句话但是我的心现在却比你还伤
I could see I love you It hurts me deep in my heart 我不能像你这样
说分了就忘 我这样是坚强还是忘了爱的勉强
让你看透我的心现在我不想是该说放就放
就试着遗忘 痛苦我会遗忘只想看你开心的模样 新的恋情让它成长
而过去就放在心上

Shereen needs to learn to put on make-up. She just realised her make-up skills are damm lousy. I have a mascara, eye liner, blusher, foundation and lip gloss at home but i end up using foundation only. Lol. I just need 10 seconds to put on my make-up (coz the only make-up that i use is foundation.bleak!). All my cousins are far better than me. P.s: i think Xin Mei is good at putting make-up too. Shall get her to teach me someday. :D

I went to my grandmother and my aunt's house on day 2 of chinese new year. :D Here's a photo of Xin Mei Cousin and me.

A photo of my cousins.

Cousins and rocky playing at the playground. Rocky got a hong bao from my aunt too. Lol.haha

Food!

My mum was talking about marriage today. She said that i should get married before the age of 30. This topic totally scare me off. Although i have a boyfriend but it's just boyfriend and not husband. I can't see him as my husband as he is not what i really want for a husband. I always think that my husband should be a chinese, thrifty, stable job + constantly upgrading himself, nice to me and my family, not scold vulgar language, not smoke and good tempered. I know i shouldn't be saying this in my blog but this is really how i feel. I really think that husband is very different from boyfriends. Husband is one and only but you may have a few boyfriends in your lifetime. I think that my future husband must be able to get along well with my family because i really cherish family ties. The topic really scare me because I'm so afraid of wasting both our time on the relationship. One thing that i hate about him is that he got a very bad temper and is even starting to scold me vulgar language when we quarrel. I admit I'm not a good girlfriend as well as I'm not those caring kinda girlfriend. I realised that i am attracted to guys who appeal to me physically. I think i'm still immature when looking for a boyfriend. I think that my future husband need not be attractive physically but he must nice to me and respect me and my family. I'm really scared when i think of marriage because it is a big thing to me. Starting a family is not only about myself but also about my family, my future children and the second half of my life.

Saw this article at the ST forum-->
Home > ST Forum > Online Story
Eating and drinking in public transport common
I HAVE witnessed many instances of passengers consuming food and drinks while using public transportation.

Just yesterday, two girls from a school in Woodlands had a sumptuous breakfast while travelling to their morning class. I was appalled, but not surprised, as this was not the first time I had seen such anti-social and inconsiderate behaviour from students of that school.

A few weeks ago, to my disappointment, I saw a group of girls from a reputable school in Alexandra happily sipping a canned drink while standing in the bus.

Is there any respect for fellow passengers and the law? Has the new generation of youngsters lost touch with civic and moral values while pursuing excellence in school?
In Perth, while taking a public bus, I saw the driver telling a passenger boarding the bus to drop the apple she was holding into a bin at the bus-stop first. He was assertive and polite. I was impressed.
Mark Ho

I think i have committed the crime of eating and drinking in the bus before. I've ever eaten a sandwich and fish burger on the double deck bus. I've done so because i'm late for school and i have to take my breakfast or else i will have gastric pain. I know that this is not allowed and i should wake up earlier instead of eating on the bus. However, i would rather be seen as 'no manners' rather than having 'good manners and gastric pain' at the same time. I eat on the bus because i'm only left with 1/3 of the sandwich when i board the bus.
By saying that the new generation of youngsters have lost touch with civic and moral values while pursuing excellence in school is simply not fair to the youngsters. This is because not all youngsters are like that and everyone is imperfect. Life would be so tiring and stressful(stressful because everyone is afraid of making mistakes) if everyone is perfect. Singapore would be a country for robots if that really happened. I posted this article in my blog because the article seems to be targeting a particular group of Singaporeans--> youngsters. This is simply not fair because some 'aunties' and 'uncles' are worst than the youngsters who eat in the bus. I have seen uncles taking their shoe out and putting their feet on top of the chairs. I have seen aunties trimming their nails in the bus. Imagine someone trimming nails and removing the dirt from their nails and then throwing it onto the floor. Isn't this worse than looking at someone eat on the bus?

rocky and me :D

Went to **'s blog (i don't want to mention your name but you should know i'm talking about you coz i'm a loyal fan of ur blog and always tag u :D cheers) and she was sharing on her past relationship and i have something to say too. I always feel that girl-friends are better and more reliable than bf because they will always be there for you but in relationship, it's hard to predict. I said this because life is not only about bf but also about youself, your friends and your family. I understand that you may not reply your friend's sms because you exceeded the sms for your boyfriend. But i think i have a method whereby you can save on your handphone bill. You know, woman need more money than guys because we need to spend money on things such as sanitary pad, make-up and clothes? Haha...ok. Here's how you can save your handphone bill--> whenever you feel like talking to your boyfriend, call him, let the handphone ring for a few times before putting it down. Make him call you using his handphone and you can then chat on your handphone without having to pay a single cent (free incoming calls). Make this a habit and he will get used to it and will call you back instead of answering your calls. However, if you prefer to sms him, then maybe you can try to limit yourself to a few sms everyday/try to type all the information in a single sms instead of sending your sms when you only have a few words to say.

Btw, do you know why i always have time to blog? This is because blogging is like a commercial break to me.

e.g 1 to 1.30pm: do project
1.30 to 1.45pm: blog
1.45 to 2pm: wash clothes and play with rocky at the same time
2 to 2.30pm: do project
2.30 to 3.30pm: read articles online/read blogs/facebooking/friendster/check email
3.30 to 4pm: continue with project
4 to 4.15pm: blog
9 to 10pm: watch tv (blog in between commercial breaks)

So this is how i have time(15 minutes is enough for me to upload the photos and blog) to blog even though i am busy. I think i am able to blog when i'm busy but i'm unable to blog when i'm tired/lack of sleep.

After reading this, what do you think of a muilt-purpose card which you can use it for many different purposes? Is it good or bad? I think there are two sides to everything. It is good because it is convenient as you don't have to bring so many cards at one time. However, i think that it is bad because others will have easy access to all your information and you won't have any privacy with this card. I think it is already happening to us. Let us look at a few examples.

Firstly, the Mcdelivery system. If this is your second time calling them, you simply have to make a call to them and they will know what is your address even before telling them.

Secondly, internet banking. With a few clicks, you can transfer your money from one bank account to another bank account. All your transaction details are also recorded down.

Thirdly, the ez-link card. You can view your previous travel information just by checking it from the ez-link machine. It is easy for you to check on someone just by checking where have they been to.

Fourthly, the internet search engine(refer to the post below). It is simply so easy to obtain information of someone. Therefore, if there is such a muilt-purpose card, it will definitely be scary. However, we cannot avoid it. Technology is improving at a fast speed and we cannot stop it from happening. Btw, i did not create the powerpoint slides myself. Someone sent it to me.

If you have any secrets, please do not post it on the internet. This is because internet is so scary and you don't have any privacy at all in the internet. This is what i mean--> It is easy for others to look for information about you from the internet.
Feeling bored after doing my project and so i decided to do a search on some of my friends. I did a search on joycelin see, goh jieyi and myself. This is what i've found from google search engine. I just need to key in the person's full name and everything regarding that person will appear.
Scary right? you can even find the person's blog on the first page of the search engine. So guys, if you are trying to scold someone in your blog, please think twice or use 'xx' instead of the person's name. Alternatively, you can lock and set a password system for your blog.

My room is in a mess now...so much rubbish and clothes all over the place...i'm such a messy person.....eeee....btw...if you are thinking of buying clothes for chinese new year, do buy clothes which are black/blue/green....this is because the three colours(black, blue, green) are the auspicious colour for the year of the ox. This applies to everyone. I saw this on one of the newspapers articles and i kinda believe it as the article said that the year of ox would be a hot year and everyone will be in a nasty mood when the weather is hot. Therefore, dark and peaceful colours like black, blue or green are recommended. You know, the chinese refers it as the Yin and the Yang. Hmm...i know, not everyone believes this but i do, to a certain extent.

If you are thinking of spring cleaning your room, please do in on 19January2009(monday). This is because spring cleaning tomorrow will bring wealth to you and your family members. Please try to avoid spring cleaning on the coming thursday. Btw, if you are thinking 'is this logical?'. I would say that there is no harm trying it and there are words such as luck and miracle which is not logical as well.

Some information for those born in the year of dragon:

The
dragon enjoys a very high reputation in Chinese culture. It is the token of authority, dignity,
honor, success, luck, and capacity. In ancient China, a dragon was thought to speed across the sky with divine power. Emperors entitled themselves exclusively as 'dragon'; their thrones were called 'dragon thrones', their clothes 'dragon gowns'.

People under the sign of the dragon are lively, energetic and fortunate. They often can be leaders and try to go for perfection. When they meet with difficulties, they are not discouraged. But they are a little arrogant, and impatient, and women are over- confident. If they overcome these defects, they can have a brighter future.

Best match: rat, monkey, rooster; avoid: dog, ox, dragon, rabbit

The Dragon
Assertive, energetic and talented are all words to describe the Dragon personality. On the other hand, the Dragon has a tendency to be condescending and tactless without realising it. They generally enjoy robust health and tend to be very successful in anything they turn their hand to.

Forecast for 2009 Most Dragons will have an increase in income during 2009 which will be very welcome. They will be strong and focused in pursuing their objectives for the year. Dragons should take their time and appreciate any valuable advice they are given.
Time should be made to enjoy hobbies and fun activities. Gossip could feature strongly during the year and all Dragons should take care not to indulge in idle chit chat lest in backfires on them! Socially, May to August will be a fun time with many Dragons taking their romances more seriously. March and April will bring intriguing job offers for those seeking a change in direction.
Interesting Dragon Facts:

I joined flowerpod forum[http://flowerpod.com.sg/] today! There are so many members in the flowerpod forum and they have interesting chat topics e.g
--> Should i continue waiting for her?
--> Does height really matters? (short guy with taller girls)
--> Do you shower with your bf/gf?
--> Do your other half loves you as much as you do?
--> Is looks important?
--> What if your friend betray you for her/his own benefits?

For people who have not used forums before, this is how it works. You can view topics or search for a topic that you are interested in and then view the comments left by others. Then, you can reply to their comments or start your own comment. To me, it's just like a mass msn. Lol. Does height really matters? (short guy with taller girls). I think that height does matter to me. I prefer my bf to be at least taller than me. It's hard for me to accept someone who is shorter than me but guys are getting shorter and shorter nowadays. Lol. Guys, if you are reading this, please take out your skipping rope and use it for 1/2 hour everyday. It really does help you to grow taller. That's what i did when i was in secondary school. I think that woman look prettier and cuter when they are not too tall nor too short. My idea of the perfect height is 163cm. my height is 165cm but i still think that 163cm is a better height. Lol. Btw, it is really true that you will get shorter when you age. My dad used to be about 175-176cm in the past but now he is only about 170cm. Omg. He don't have hunchback or anything but he just grew shorter.

I'm down with flu since wednesday...hope the flu bug will go away soon. Jeffrey took leave from work to study for his examinations and he kept on calling me. But i always ignore him coz i'm sick. So sorry but I just hate to answer any calls or go anywhere when i'm feeling unwell. I hope i can recover by tomorrow. God bless me. Have been staying at home on thursday and friday and i'm glad that i have my television to accompany me. Haha. Watched C.S.I on tuesday night, american idol and american's next top model on thursday night. I really like the shows that they are showing on channel 5 nowadays.

There are some problems with my old blogskin and so i changed to a new blogskin.
Will upload new photos onto the blogskin once i have taken new photos. :D

Added a few links to the column under livejournal clothes. Some of the websites offer nice clothes with affordable pricing too. I just love to shop online coz it's so convenient. Just click, browse, purchase and they will mail the clothes to you.

Would-be Chinese bride, 107, seeks first husband

Mon Jan 12, 12:25 am ET
BEIJING (Reuters) – A 107-year-old Chinese woman who was afraid to marry when she was young has decided to look for her first husband and hopes to find a fellow centenarian so they will have something to talk about, a Chinese paper reported.
Wang Guiying is worried she is becoming a burden to her ageing nieces and nephews since breaking her leg when she was 102 and had to stop doing chores like washing her clothes.
"I'm already 107 and I still haven't got married," the Chongqing Commercial Times quoted her saying. "What will happen if I don't hurry up and find a husband?"
Born in southern Guizhou province the child of a salt merchant, Wang grew up watching her uncles and other men scold and beat their wives and often found her aunt crying in the woodshed after an attack, the paper said.
"All the married people around there lived like that. Getting married was too frightening," she said of an era when Chinese women had few rights and low social standing.
Many also had their feet bound in an excruciating process aimed at making them look more dainty and marriageable.
After Wang's father, mother and older sister died, she still shied away from marriage. Instead she moved to the countryside and survived as a farmer until she was 74 years old and no longer strong enough to work in the fields, the report said.
Her nephew in the booming city of Chongqing then took Wang in, but she is worried he and her other nephews and nieces are too old to take care of her now even the youngest is 60.
"My nephews and nieces are getting older and their children are already tied up with their own families and I am becoming more and more of a burden," she said.
Local officials have said they are happy to help Wang search for a 100-year old groom, and suggested her family get in touch with old people's homes to find candidates, the paper said.
(Reporting by Emma Graham-Harrison; Editing by Nick Macfie and Sugita Katyal)

I really admire her for her courage to get married after so long. Many people are afraid of falling in love with the wrong person and many people are not getting married. I think it's really hard to decide to get married after such a long time. It's hard for her to find a husband given her age. This is especially true as there are not much people who are older than her. I wish her all the best for her future.

i'm so tired. Reached home at 8pm today even though my lessons end at 6pm....took bus 74 to ang mo kio hub and i waited for 2 bus 269 coz it's so crowded.zzzz....i think i have to sleep early today. Tomorrow's lesson will start at 8.30pm.zzzz

I went to Jieyi's house on friday and we had this nail polish session at her house.

Look at her wide range of nail polish. She even took out her Mahjong table for me to use. Lol. How i wish i have a Mahjong table too. Then, i divided the nail polish into 2 areas. Those of the left are those that i would consider using. Those towards the right are the ones that i would not use.

This is the nail polish that i bought from Ang Mo Kio Hub. Bought it at $2.50 and i might be using it during Chinese new year period since it's bright pink.
I had a hard time choosing the colour i like...which one do you prefer?
I love to drink snapple...lol. Btw, this is a lip gloss. So cute right? Jieyi told me that she bought them online.
She's definitely a great fan of face masks. Look at her wide variety of face masks. I can't be compared to her. I only have 3 face masks at home. I told her that in comparison, mine was 3 days supply while hers is 3 years supply!haha..maybe one day, i should start collecting face masks like her too.

After our nail polish session and all that exploring in her room, we played maple story and the sims complete collection. I wanna have the sims complete collection too. The game is so fun and there are so many different towns and things to do e.g able to go on vacation, able to play magic, able keep pets, etc. I shall add the game to my wishlist--> the sims complete collection. Btw, jieyi, i want to go to your house again. I wanna play the sims complete collection!

I found this photo of us (Wanying and me). The photo was taken about 2 years ago. Both of us are in very thick make-up. Foundation, powder, lip gloss, eyeliner, fake eyelashes etc. I think i look very weird with thick make-up. I still think i am more suited for light make-up. Maybe it's because i don't have long and thick eyelashes?

Btw, regarding to the post earlier on, I forgot to mention that the animes at Crunchyroll.com load very fast. You can open a few episodes in a few windows at the same time to let it load and by the time you finish watching episode one, the rest of the episodes have already finished loading.

I spent my whole afternoon watching 'Shugo Chara' yesterday. Have already watched a few episodes and really liked the anime. This anime is about a teenager who appears to be cool and popular but in fact, she is not. She is actually a shy girl and is afraid to express herself. Many of her classmates adore her and treat her like their idol but in fact, she only wanted to be a normal girl who can go out with her friends after school, dress more like a girl, etc. One day, she made a wish. She wanted to change her character and be more outgoing and girly and not appear to be cool and popular. The next day, she discovered 3 eggs on her bed. The eggs were supposed to help her achieve her goals.

One of her eggs hatched. This little angel was her guardian angel for her love life.

Her 3 guardian angels. They are so Kawaii! One of them is for her love life, the other is for her talents(e.g sports and art & craft) and the last one is for her cooking skills.

This is how Shugo Chara appears to be, cool and popular. But all she wanted to be is a normal girl.

This is how she wanted to be. A normal and sweet-looking girl.

This is her younger sister.

This is one of the scene in Shugo Chara. She thought that the guy was trying to molest her but in fact, he is trying to steal her eggs(guardian angels) from her.

Shugo Chara is a shy girl who always run away when she is embarrassed.
Her guardian angels are always beside her. No one can see her guardian angels except for a selected few.

The rest of the guardian angels had to put on a cape whenever they go. Only guardian angels are allowed to put on a cape and have special privileges. This is the reason why they are highly respected. The cape reminds me of the tie that the prefects had in secondary school. Do you remember that the prefects had to put on their tie whenever they go?
Shugo Chara had a crush on this guy. Because of her guardian angel who controlled her, she made a confession to the guy but was rejected as he already had someone in mind. However, Shugo Chara was not discouraged but was trying her best to make him fall in love with her e.g baking cookies, etc. This anime is not a romance but rather, an anime that is cute, funny, and teaches us a lot e.g 1)We have to believe in our own abilities in order to succeed. 2)If we have no confidence in ourself, the egg(guardian angel) within us will disappear and we will definitely be discouraged and unable to achieve our goals. 3) It is never too late to learn to express ourself well and become who we really wanted to be. 4) You get to learn Japanese and improve your English as the sound tracks are in Japanese and the Subtitles are in English.

So who said anime are only for children and teenagers? I think there are always two sides to everything. It just depends on how you view it. Btw,here's the link--> http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-509988/Shugo-Chara-Episode-1.html . Put aside the advantages, I think that there are some disadvantages as well. Disadvantages= the characters in anime have a tendency to day-dream and be overly romantic. Please do not day-dream too often(Once in a while is okay..haha). I say they are overly romantic as many of the things do not happen in real life.
