on 17august2010, i saw eugene on bus 74. At first i couldn't confirm whether it's him as he was sitting in front of me and two seats away from me. However, i got a feeling that the ears belong to eugene...lol...so funny right? recognising his ears...lol. then i smsed him and told him that i am sitting behind him on the bus. While in class, he msged me and asked me to join him and grala as nicholas will be driving to klassic. That day, i realised that eugene can be quite mature at times. He told me that he understands that playing pool competitively cannot be treated as a full time job in singapore and that he is currently playing poker and considering to treat it as a full time job. However, he know that his parents won't be supportive of his decision and so he went for a job interview in the banking sector and the pay is quite good for a fresh graduate. Just imagine someone going for interviews even before graduating. It's interesting talking to people who knows what they want in life because it will motivate me to work harder too. If you ask me, i can easily name a few friends that i respect and admire because of their level of perseverance, seriousness and motivation. One such example is hui fang. She is always highly motivated despite studying, teaching tuition and doing attachment at the same time.
