Got those ghost stories from Jiunn Chin(Apparently he was doing some kinda 'research' on his camp. Whether to believe it or not it's up to you). Btw, for your information, stagmont camp is in Choa Chu Kang. (different stories are highlighted in different colours)
[][]Stagmont, the Best camp to be in:[][]
Access to the 6th floor and the rest was via 3 ways. 1 main center stairwell access and 2 stairwell at the corners. The main access was barred up like prisons' bars and chained. So can see what is inside. The 2 side stairs access were boarded up with thick heavy wooden planks. This sight alone was very intimidating. Needless to say, the entire floor was off limits and no one stay there. We're told and instructed not to go there but a few of us went to see anyway. At the main access, can see the corridor and toilet. It was dark, dank and dusty. Talisman and prayer papers are all over the floor and walls. The sheer number of talisman and prayer papers was mind blowing. Very eerie and creepy and I never see such a sight before in my life. In the toilet, u can see 1 sink and mirror....all clean and nice. Makes u wonder why the rest are dirty and dusty and that very one is different. It was one evening when i went up there. Took a look and off I go. Dun want to linger there anymore. From then on, I never step on 6th floor again although I spent quite sometime in Stagmont Camp for my course.Rumoured that a trainee hanged himself many years back. At first, they still used the 6th floor but cupboards began to shake and many things happened. The hauntings got so bad that it was boarded up and chained and it was off limits to everyone. That was back in 99 and these days, I was told that they reno that block and the 6th floor are classrooms now.
I just remembered something about my friend whom I met him during RT recently. He was a driver at Stagmont Camp (if i remember correctly)One day he and some other fellow cant book out due to certain reason. He got pissed off till he went to one of the bunk which was concealed and attempted to kick it open. Went in and see nuthing, off he go. Next, he kena again for not going home for another week, again he went to kick the second door of the bunk which was concealed also. Again.. nothing happened..The reason he kicked because he heard there's one spirit in the bunk and want to see if anything happen but he was lucky. The next day he was the duty driver at the Medical Centre and was resting on the bed. Suddenly he total froze up and when he opened his eyes, there's 3 spirit on his left and 3 on his right. All of them were like mummy and was told that they were all muslim because of the cloth. He can even see torn dirty cloth, see thru their stomach and he began to chant. The spirit told him that God isnt by your side, it was on their side. Because they never come and disturb him and why must he do it? Somemore 2 time of kicking the door. He was warned nicely that if he attempt to kick again, there wun be any of the warning but to take his life away. He was.. stunned and nodded politely, next they vanished.. this teach him a lesson not to anyhow kick things..
I'm currently in Stagmont Camp and as luck may have it i'm in the same building as the supposed " Haunted 6th Floor " . I'm at the level 1 anyways in charge of a radio store.Of course me and a few others have gone to visit this so called "sixth floor".it is indeed a pretty eerie place with quite a few talismans hanging around and here are a few encounters i've heard from current and previous storemen.1.There was this one time this 2 guys went up to the sixth floor to sleep. They were new and didn't know bout the infamous sixth floor. One of them was talking to his gf on the phone and the other had his eyes closed trying to sleep.Suddenly he heard a girl gave a loud laugh. He immediate got up and turned to his friend and asked "did you hear that?"The friend did not hear anything however his girlfriend on the other line asked "are u sure ure in camp? who's the girl laughing?" .Both of them slowly put on their socks and shoes and ran w/o turning back.Currently its being used by drivers now.But only a couple of rooms not all.And one had the experience of feeling something sitting on him only to awake to a female figure trying to choke him.I dont know how credible the recruit who hanged himself in the toilet is as not much people here really know that story. There were also a couple of storemen who had commited suicide but it was quite a few years back. One hanged himself in a store. The other jumped to his death in camp from the sixth floor.Thats what i know for Staggie and hell i've got 16 more months to go here.
My friend shot himself in the head with an M-16 there in 92 or 93. Not in the toilet but in the bunk. I was at his funeral, and it was an open coffin for his superiors to pay thier last respects..I won't describe what he looked like.RIP

We're still trainees and it was after a very siong exercise and we have to maintain some cables. I asked my friend to go back to our bunk located at 5th floor to get some wire cutters. The next day, he told me he heard a child crying in our bunk! The accomodation block is very creepy and old. The 6th floor is offically off limits to everyone. Said to be haunted and it was boarded up. Cannot access but can see whats inside. And I tell u, u dun wanna see what is in there. The sight will send shivers down your spine. My experience:Same camp, same period, still trainees.....during Millianium period, so there are 2 sets of prowlers......It was during guard duty........and like most, my mate and me like to 'rest' during guard duty. We prowl to the lecture block and rested there. We settled down outside 1 of the 2nd floor classrooms....just along the corridor. It was way past midnight and it was very quiet. The block was a little eerie but there was still lights from the street lamp, so still can see.......After about 10 mins of resting, WE heard footsteps walking towards us. It was distinctive and it sounded like boots...... walking nearer and nearer.... Man I was stunned! My first thought was, 'Siao liao! DO/BOS lai liao!' I asked my mate if he heard it and he said YES! So I asked him to 'stick' his head out and see/peep. He told me he saw nothing and there isn't anymore footsteps. So I thought ok maybe WE'RE hearing things. So we continue with our rest......Mintues later WE heard it again! Very clear foot/boot steps coming nearer and nearer.....getting louder and louder. My friend stick his head out and see again and again, he said he saw nothing! Then I stick out me head to see........Blood hell I saw nothing! And whatever it was, it was getting nearer and nearer, closer and closer, louder and louder......walking towards US! Man! Blood froze and drained from our faces. I told me mate, its not correct, something is very wrong, lets go! We grabbed our rifles and ran.....really ran out of the block. We ran like we never ran before and only stop when we reach the road. It was a creepy and eerie night. We continued prowling.....and dogs are howling. We arrived at the bottom of the slope and those familar with Stagmont camp will know.....it will lead us to 2 Sig Bn.....so naturally, I looked ahead. Then I saw at the top of the slope, 2 jockey caps.....because of the incline, I can only see the 2 jockey caps hopping towards the medical center. I must be seeing things, so I asked my friend to see......he stared, saw no jockey caps but saw a figure standing by a car. Boy it was really an eventfull night. I thought I saw the other set of prowler. When we arrived at the top of the slope, we saw the other 2 prowlers just coming from the opposit direction. So I asked them if they just arrived or they did walked towards the medical center. They told me that they just arrived. What did i see?Till today, I still have no idea what I saw or was I imagining things. But one thing is for sure, my friend and I heard the foot/boot steps. The story did not end with me, the other set of prowler heards things as well but it will be another story. It was really an eventfull night.

[][]don't don't don't go up.i've been in stagmont for almost 2 years now. that floor is...... spooky.[][]i've been there once myself, but it was during the day. one of my friends who went up during guard duty at night saw a picture of a small girl leaning against the wall with 2 green candles burning in front of it. And its not just the 6th floor too..... the generator store in the accom block... beware. and the MPH too. i've personally experienced a door opening and closing itself in the MPH once.Other hot spots:football field at night. avoid.once i crossed the field at 9pm, twice, to return my office key. when i was returning back to my office, a dog to my left, started howling just as i was directly alongside the dog.then, it followed me, barking at something behind me, all the way from one end of the field to the other. i didn't dare look back, and simply walked as fast as i could.2 SIG publication store.our key to this room mysteriously found its way into the room. the funny thing is, as this room is used to store sensitive materials, we have a metal gate, which can only be locked by the key. when my sgt couldn't find the key, in desperation he removed the gate from its hinges, and slightly damaged the gate. went in, he found the key behind a row of steel cabinets. no way the key could have gotten in there and the gate still remain locked.cookhouse.the alarm at the muslim cookhouse often rings suddenly by itself in the wee hours of the morning, about 2-4am. normally u would expect the alarm to be responded to, but the DOs, BOSs, Guard Comd and 2ICs all seem to have been briefed one way or another to ignore it and avoid investigating.SI admin block, the store where they keep the bedsheets.another friend on guard duty found the store lights on once, and heard scuffling sounds inside, they went in to investigate, and caught.... nobody! when they left the store, they heard footsteps following behind them. his prowling buddy turned around, screamed and fainted. as for my friend, well being bossom buddy that he is, he took off at top speed, without his buddy who fainted. Luckily the other guy was unharmed. aparently he'd seen a pair of glowing red eyes behind them.SI admin block 2nd floor, corridor outside the Admin Br office.on duty once, while in the office, at about 8 to 9pm, i heard female footsteps(sounds like someone in high heels walking) 4 times that night.
Someone hanged himself in the toilet if you really like to know
pls dun play play in stagmont. there really ARE things.

[][]Would like to share a story (only that you don't publish my real name) that I experienced personally during my army days. [][]This was 1991.After BMT, I was posted to School of Signals at Stagmont Camp for 7 weeks of Basic Signaler Course. Camp was an eye-opener as it was like a holiday camp compared to the crummy SBMT (well, I have another one on that) where I came from.OK, as signalers, we have to go through radio and line course. Line means that we use field telephones instead of mobile radio sets. The most difficult part is to "lay the line" as we call it - basically run from point A to B and connect 2 telephones while making sure we give enough slack for maintenance. In Line training, there is this exercise to lay it in built-up areas, which is basically a building.Off we went on a short ride to this abandoned govt blocks in Chua Chu Kang. It was an afternoon. We were split into 12 teams and 2 teams are tasked to lay line all the way to the 6th floor of each abandoned building by entering from the two staircase entrances located at each side of the building. To my best recollection, there were 6 blocks, 5 together and an isolated one about 50 meters away down a slope. My team together with another were bloody unfortunate to be tasked to lay Block 6 - yup, the isolated one. Was not so much about goblins and ghosts then but for the fact that each team is timed on their mission and the last team has to do push ups on the hot ground full of sands and stones - a real bummer. We had to work faster.I was detachment-in-charge and my responsibility was to run as fast as I can to the block, run up the stairs to the 6th floor, cist the cable and connect it to the phone, check communications and run back to report with my mates. The other 2 of my mates have the responsibility of covering up the line and allow enough slack. As I ran like hell up the stairs, something made me look back at the corner on the 4th floor. I saw nothing. When I reached the 6th floor and started working with my pliers, I heard a female voice talking in the empty rooms. Pressed for time, I was not thinking much about it. But as I was finishing my job, the talking which I could not make out what was said as they were kind of mumblings, grew louder and it sounded like that female was losing an argument (you know how they are). Next thing I heard was a loud bang, exactly like slamming of a door. What made me froze for 3 seconds was that several other doors also slammed shut one after another. At that point, I have finished my job, and ran downstairs by jumping each staircase from the 2nd or 3rd step. I didn't say anything because not being the last detachment to report back took utmost priority for me. When the exercise was almost done, we needed to collect back the field telephone and cables. I kind of suggested to my mates that we should share the work and one of them should go up and claim these items. (Yup, I'm that kind of dude then). We went back to camp, returned the stores and waited for dinner. I still didn't tell anyone. In the bunk, I was sitting on the floor opposite this guy from the team that was laying the line at the other end of block 6. Thinking back, they had a rawer deal as their staircase entrance was facing the woods while mine was facing the command centre. Anyway, this guy look real pale and green. Then I sprang my questions. "Did you lay block 6?", "Did you hear any woman's voice?" The guy looked at me and was totally shocked out of his pants! He couldn't speak for at least 1 min and then told me his story. When we were collecting back the equipment, this dude was unsure if his detachment ic was upstairs doing it, so he ventured upstairs to look for him. While he was at halfway between the 5th and 6th floor staircase, he called out the ic's name and got a female voice replying "Wo zai ze li" (I am here). Straightaway he dashed back downstairs. We tried to analyze and rationalize it because it was broad daylight (sunny and hot) and we had a female instructor present during the exercise. But all the time she was at the command post. Could it be a human hiding in the rooms? Finally, we approached our female sergeant (instructor) and told her our experience. She confirmed that she was at the command post all the time and the blocks are vacant. Later that evening, she revealed that we were not the only ones that "complained" about it. Apparently, previous platoons also encountered unexplained things there. After this event, the place was not used for any future line training exercises. The story did not end...1992 - I was in a unit and involved in this big division exercise just before my ROD. My unit was in Tekong and I had ultra sinang duties. With nothing to do at night, I sat around a bunch of store man and drivers listening to ghost stories. There was this driver that said that during his teenage days, they like to peep at lovers making out at night. One of the hotspots then was a bunch of abandoned govt blocks in Chua Chu Kang. But there was one incident whereby this girl was ditched by the boyfriends and she hung herself in one of the rooms. I couldn't believe what I have heard!Immediately, I asked him to describe the place...it was the same BLOCK 6!!!Does anyone have any experiences in the same vicinity? I am sure that mine is not an isolated case...
Link: http://www.spi.com.sg/stories/toronto_cck/main.htm[][]Wah! Jus discovered this thread and was surprised to see so many posts liao! Share wif u all one of mine. [][]:D I was in Stagmont Camp for my Basic Signaller Course jus b4 i ORD in 1999. U all prolly heard of the 6th Floor of the building nearest to the guardhouse. My platoon was warned abt going up the 6th floor. The door was padlocked wif chains and wif talisman on top of the top. Two of my platoon mates were super daring. During one of the nites when we don't have nites off, they went up the 6th floor. One of the guy was great wif picking locks and he managed to open up the old padlock. Both of them walked along the corridor and came back to share their experience wif the rest of us.According to them, each and every bunk's door had a talisman on top. From wat they could see from the window, the bunks are extremely clean... Not a sight of cobwebs hanging from the ceiling fans despite being unoccupied for so long... Wat's more, the beds are in stand-by-bed condition... We called them the banana bed if u noe wat i mean. We all felt a chill down our spine and decide to sleep early and not think abt wat they saw. Now, these two guys' bed are separated by another guy in between. The guy who slept between them is the 'guai guai' type of fella who is low profile and keeps to himself generally. In the morning while we are having breakfast, this guy who slept in the middle grumbled loudly that he was disturbed by the commotion created by the two guys while he was asleep in the middle of the nite. He said that the two of them was sitting on the floor jus right at the end of his bed talking in Hokkien. The two guys stared at him and ****** him for accusing them of something they nvr done. Both of them claimed that they are sound aslp when the incident happened. The 'guai' guy insisted that he can recognise their voices very well and he couldn't be mistaken. An uneasy silence fell over the table and everyone jus consumed their breakfast and hurry up to draw the stores as we have an exercise later on.The exercise went smoothly until the end of the day when we are supposed to do a count of the stores and return them. One manpack signal set was found missing. This was surprising as the day's exercise mainly involves the vehicular sets and the manpack sets were not used. Platoon sergeant and PC immediately ordered us to comb the whole exercise area for the set. We all combed for 2hrs and came back empty handed. PS and PC were very angry and tekan us at the carpark below the bunk building. PS then punished us by ordering a change parade; wanting us to change from our long fours to pt kit in 5mins. When we rushed up, we suddenly saw one of the guys froze at the door. He was the bunk ic and when he unlocked the door, he saw the manpack set on the bed of one of the guys who went up the 6th floor. No one had a chance to go back to the bunk from morning when we had breakfast, draw stores, exercise and return stores... We immediately took the set and returned to PS. PS went quiet when he heard our story... He granted the two guys who went up the 6th floor time-off to book out of camp to buy joss sticks, joss papers and fruit offerings. The two of them came back wif the offerings and immediately prayed outside the doorsteps of the 6th floor. Dunno whether it was a human blunder or really something spooky happened but whenever we do prowling at nite and see that the whole 6th floor lights are on when the rest of the floors' lights are off, we jus keep quiet and go abt our prowling...
