was super bored at home and so we decided to go to sentosa......

photo of jieyi at the Merlion....we are on our way to the nostalgic fun at sentosa...there will be games e.g pick-up sticks and snakes and ladders located at the Imbiah Lookout, Images of Singapore Forecourt from 20November2008 to 8December2008....admission is free but there are only a few games available...

we wanted to play 'snake and ladder' but couldn't find the dice....haiz...

so we went to play the 'giant pick-up sticks' instead...there's a board showing us the rules of the games and that different colours stand for different points....

jieyi trying hard to choose a stick......and after playing for about 15 to 20minutes, the winner is.....jieyi!she managed to get 6 sticks while i only managed to get 3 sticks....After the game, we sat down and finished our lunch at the Imbiah Lookout. (please buy food from either Vivocity or Harbourfront centre before heading to Sentosa as the food there are expensive...however, if you prefer eating there, you can eat at the KouFu foodcourt located at Palawan Beach)

Then, we went to the Palawan Beach for drinks and to enjoy the nice scenery...i like going to Sentosa as it just makes me feel happier looking at the sea....

Palawan beach is less crowded than Siloso beach and i believe it is because Siloso beach is more accessible than Palawan Beach and there are more facilities at Siloso.....

Jieyi distributing the poker cards. We are playing the game 'Big 2' and Jieyi kept losing to me...lol...i think I'm lucky that day as my cards are better than hers and I'm more familiar with the rules of the game....

hmmm...this picture looks dark but in reality, it is sunny the whole day....

a picture of our drinks....strawberry milkshake for me and orange + Cranberry juice for jieyi..

cheers!

went to the close encounter with parrots at 4.30pm and i love the parrots. They are so cute! This is my first time taking photo with parrots on my hand but i'm not scared at all. That is so weird as i'm used to be afraid of the parrots last time. When i say last time, i meant last year. And i suddenly remembered that i used to run away when i see dogs and now, i have a dog as a pet. OMG...i really can't explain my behaviour...

I didn't know there were animal shows at Sentosa until jieyi showed me this piece of paper yesterday...she got the information from the Sentosa website and you can't get the information from the Sentosa Brochure. That explains why so many people did not know about the animal shows. The animal shows are from 12pm to 5.30pm daily and is located at the Palawan Amphitheatre. Admission is free and the shows are interesting and exciting. There will be eagles flying on top of your head, performance by parrots, etc

the staff invited an audience to the stage to carry the huge python...and guess the weight of the python? it weights about 22kilogram....omg

towards the end of the performance, the Python is left on the table where everyone can touch it and have their photos taken...
i did not have my photo taken with the Python but look at jieyi...she can even smile at the camera while touching the Python....omg...i don't understand why she is afraid of parrots but is not afraid of snakes....
