bought a new bed at IKEA at $218.....there are additional 7% for fixing and additional $50 for transportation....and so we decided to transport it home and fixed the bed on our own....

jeffrey and i went to the furniture mall at thomson and their collections were very little.....and i couldn't find the bed i want so went to IKEA at Alexandra road.....saw this bed and it was love at first sight but jeffrey said that $218 is too expensive for a bed and said that he could find a similar one at ang mo kio central.....so we went back to ang mo kio central and still couldn't find a bed that i like after browsing a few stores (courts, defu, etc).....and we took a cab to IKEA at tampines and as COURTS was beside IKEA, we went to COURTS and still i prefer the bed at IKEA......i find the price reasonable as the prices of the beds at Ang Mo Kio central are around $200++ after adding the delivery charges.....and so Jeffrey told me that he learnt a lesson....he said that he would not stop me from buying the next time once i set my eyes on something i like as i will still choose that item after browsing other stores......i told him that the prices are similar but i would rather choose something that i like.....hmm....maybe both of us shop differently? i will only browse a few stores at Funan IT mall before deciding which shop to buy from but he will browse each and every store before deciding to buy at the shop offering the best price.....here's his logic: bed 1: bed frame at COURTS + delivery charges = $200......bed 2: bed frame at IKEA= $218.......i prefer bed 2 over bed 1 and yet he will tell me all the benefits of choosing bed 1....he told me that the bed looks nice and it is inclusive of delivery charges which is better than choosing bed 2 as it is cheaper........i told him that i would rather choose something i like as there is only a difference of $18 and bed 2 is more durable and can last for a longer time....then he asked me why can't i compromise and i replied him that bed 1 is not the bed i like and that i'm the one choosing my own bed and not him......so i would choose the bed i like and not the bed that he like......and both of us were arguing throughout the bus journey.....zzzzz....bi! why we buy bed also must quarrel! haha.....
