it's my birthday today! yippeee.....really enjoyed yesterday's birthday + christmas eve celebration......there were exactly 19 small candles on my birthday cake and i had to blow them out....lol.....took a few photos and i will upload the photos once my cousin send it to me.....received three presents + 5 red packets(2 from my parents) yesterday... :)


realised that someone tagged on my tagboard asking me about yahoo auctions so i shall post some tips for starters......
firstly you have to sign on a yahoo email account and then you have to go to yahoo auctions and verify your credit card number......for those who do not have a credit card number you cannot use posb number, etc........so perhaps you can ask your friends who have a yahoo account to help you sell things.......if you are already a yahoo auction member, here are some trends that i've noticed --> 1. do market research(go to the yahoo auction website and check whether anyone is already selling, whether anyone has bid on their item and what is their selling price.) 2. upload your photos and sell the items but be honest with yourself and think in the shoes of the buyers. (upload pictures and list down the product information, your contact information and whether postage is preferred or meet ups is okay as well) 3. put down a reasonable price and check how many people have viewed the item that you are selling. If there are many people viewing but not enquiring/bidding on the item, then it might be because the price is too high and you might want to consider lowering the price. 4. If you are selling a IT product e.g a new MP4, then check the bid history of other sellers still selling the same product as you........e.g someone bid for $380 but there is another person bidding for $390......so perhaps you might want to contact the person bidding at $380 and selling it to him/her.......you can try contacting them at their email address and tell them that you are also selling the same product which is brand new and give them the yahoo link and your contact details....5. ask for a rating from your buyers and if they give you a good rating, there will be a higher chance of other people buying from you as they know your previous transactions were rated good. 6. lastly, focus your attention on other items if a particular item is not sellable......good luck to you and i hope that helps!
